71 - Commemorating the end of WWII, English made in Germany, Potsdam's Dutch Quarter and Sir Simon Rattle

Commemoration ceremonies have taken place on the 70th anniversary of the second world war - including one in Moscow where Vladimir Putin and Angela Merkel had to see eye to eye.

Peter Littger, author of the book 'The devil lies in the detail: Lustiges und Lehrreiches über unsere Lieblingsfremdsprache' joins us to talk about his experiences learning English.

Rob takes us to the Dutch Quarter in Potsdam - a taste of Holland in Germany!

Our 'honorary German' of the Week is Sir Simon Rattle, the conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker whose successor is being elected on Monday.
